My household has begun a project to understand our own production of plastic waste. We'll start with an inventory of all the places we create plastic waste. We'll then set some reduction goals which should be attainable and which will be measureable. We're expecting this to be very enlightening but also probably quite disheartening. I'm personally expecting this will be a task where the best we can do still won't be enough, but it just might help to inspire others.
