Had my scheduled 20 minutes with the County Planning Dept. this morning. Unfortunately the staff couldn't tell me much more than I already know. I'm now preparing to visit them in person and speak with a few of the many required sub departments.

Well, then I guess I better get to work adding more stuff. I am actively developing a new community and am at the start of the process. I do have lots of information and research queued.

I've got about ten acres in 60' tall oaks on the east coast, and I'm trying to gradually move them to something less monocultural, while also building a food forest. So much to do! Also Pawpaws don't REALLY like being in shade, unfortunately. :(

Alright - we'll stay in touch. My wife has been pondering a food forest for a couple of years. I don't have control of a parcel, yet, but have been evaluating about 3.5 acres around the corner from where I currently live in Kitsap County, WA.
